NO WEEKEND PLANS

This past weekend I had ZERO, I repeat ZERO set plans! I did not wake up to an alarm. I did not have set times to be anywhere. I still did a lot of activities, go figure, but this doesn't happen a lot for me, so I took full advantage of this weekend.
What did I do? LAUGH uncontrollably all weekend. The people in my life, wow! They are absolutely amazing. Today one of our "back room homies" heads out to take on the next stage of his life and we all could not be more proud. Sam Burwell, I know you will do great things in the Army. We will miss you but are excited to follow your journey.
I started Saturday the only way I know how....coffee and then CrossFit. The open finished on Monday so CrossFit Harrisonburg planned a 17.6 The After Party to celebrate the end the open season. The CrossFit open season wears on you mentally and physically, so everyone came together Saturday as a community to celebrate the end of another open season. This event was a hit and we are already talking about 18.6! Steve lead this event with his great staff and boy, did they plan out a fun time. There was about 50 people there and I am pretty sure everyone laughed until their stomachs hurt...well I did! Bringing CrossFit people together with competitive games = hilarious.

The fun did not stop at this event on Saturday, as some of us continued the party downtown for a few more hours of laughs. I love how CrossFit has brought so many awesome humans into my life. I do not think the smile came off my face all day Saturday!
Oh Sunday, how I loved thee. I was able to get all my "Sunday chores" done on Saturday, so I knew today was going to be a day of relaxation, family time and organizing my life! Again, no alarm, so I just woke up when my body told me to ... and if you know me, sadly, that was still before the sun rose. The morning involved a lot of preparing for the week, planning and CrossFit watching but the evening was filled with family.

We took my niece to see Beauty and the Beast, my favorite Disney movie growing up, and to this day. That was fun to spend some time with Melissa, Natalie and mom, yay! From there I went to Grady and Megan's house for dinner with them and dad. It was very delicious and I got some Finn loving in while I was there. It was wonderful afternoon filled with family, which can never be topped.

To finish off the weekend Paige and I hit up Kline's for some Peanut Butter Cookies and Creme ice cream. It was delicious. It was hard to eat the ice cream and go to the car, why? Because in my head I wanted to get back in line. I am never too full for ice cream. But after a weekend of not great eats, I am ready to get back on track tomorrow and stay focused on my nutrition, with some ice cream here and there!
I hope your weekend was filled with all the family, friends, smiles and laughs!
HAPPY MONDAY! :)
