THE REAL REASON

Oh happy Monday! I am not one who loves the snow, but I could go for one GOOD snow this winter if it is going to be this cold! It's calling for some snow this week, so we shall wait and see. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are prepared for an awesome week ahead! Does anyone else look for the good out of any situation? Or maybe "the real reason" why something happens or why someone comes into your life? I am totally that person. Out of any situation, I try to find out what I learned and why this happened, because in my head there has to be a reason life is leading me down this path. There is always some kind of good from every experience whether it be bad or good, AMIRITE?! This past weekend I traveled to Roanoke to do some working out and hanging out with Regina -- yes two weekends in a row! I just met Regina in January when visiting Roanoke, and I feel like I have known her forever. I had not completely lost my drive/love for CrossFit, but I was starting to question what my true goals were and if I needed to take a step back or not spend as much time partaking in daily training. Regina has helped me find that drive again. This lady's determination and dedication is amazing. Each day she is chipping away at a huge goal in the CrossFit world and she is making great strides. You da bomb, lady! I often sit back and reflect on how my path crossed with people in my life and how I am so thankful that our lives led us to each other when it did. Today I am thankful for just that. I am thankful that I was led to CrossFit Unify Roanoke in January and that from this I have met an amazing person to train with, chat with, laugh with, share awesome news with and of course, have some friendly competition. Thank you to Regina and Jeff for another fun weekend! Always great when you can sit back on a Sunday and smile from the awesome weekend you just had! Hope you all were able to do the same! Enjoy your chilly Monday. #ohhappyday, T
