A DAY IN THE LIFE

Happy Tuesday! Today is an exciting day! Why? Because it is a NEW day. Whoop whoop! Also, I am going to run you through a "day in the life of ME." Many of my friends have told me" I don't know how you do all that you do," and sometimes I don't realize how crazy my schedule is until I write everything down in my planner.

By FriYay many weeks I am exhausted, but also excited for the weekend ahead.

Let's start with my ALARM clock going off at 4:30 a.m. Monday!

4:30 AM: The alarm screaming "WAKE UP, IT'S MONDAY!" Okay, it is not really saying that but it is definitely screaming.

4:30-5:30 AM: I prepare for the day ahead. Shower, make breakfast to go (egg whites with spinach, gluten free piece of toast with unsalted butter), make a BIG 20 ounce cup of coffee, pack my prepared lunch from the night before and head out the door for the day.

6:00-7:45 AM: Coach around 40 amazing people through a boot camp class. They do a warm-up, and strength and conditioning piece to start their day.

8:00 AM to 4:00 PM: I take on the my "real world" job during this time. By day I am a Project Manager for MillRock Casework. We provide cabinetry for hotels, student housing, multi-family and independent living units. This takes a ton of organizational skills so it fits my personality greatly [slightly obsessive about organization and tidiness].

12:30-2:15 PM: Monday and Wednesday midday I am in SolidWorks class at Blue Ridge Community College. Our company provides the shop drawings for our projects so my coworker and I completed CAD [computer aided drafting] class in the fall and are now taking this class to better serve our customers and company. I LOVE IT! Submitted my first set of drawings a couple weeks ago to a customer, very excited!

4:00-7:30 PM: GYM TIME! I look forward to this every day. Training in the afternoon at CrossFit Harrisonburg with so many awesome friends is the highlight of most of my days. They always bring a SMILE to my face.

7:30-10:00 PM: EAT! Food is always on my mind and dinner is one of my biggest meals of the day so after training all afternoon, I am always ready for dinner. After dinner, I shower and prep my food and clothes for the next day so when I wake up I am ready to tackle Tuesday. Today I was prepared enough to get in bed in time to read some before I was off to catch some ZZZZ's.

Thanks for following and I hope you enjoyed a glimpse of my day. Mondays always start out my week on a SOLID note. Busy, full and successful Monday. Have a great one!
